The Bible ( which is writen by men) say God created everything. But often when I am listening people speak they say that God did not creat other religions. That there is only one religion, and it is which ever one they believe. Isn't that a contradiction?

How about there is one religion. And it is bigger than any of us can ever precieve, and all our religions are the arms, legs, feet, heart of its whole.

Any other ideas? Or definate reasoning to explain why other religions are not part of Everything?

sahara_springs, don't say that. Everyone leads a life according to their own religion. A muslim would say that, islam is the best religion, a christian would say christianity is the best religion, a hindu would say hinduism is the best religion. Just like this, everyone would consider their religion the best. Ok there's nothin wrong with it. This is a natural feeling inside every person. One should never disgrace some other person's religion. Well.... as far as ur question is concerned, yes God has created everything. But , to say the truth I actually don't know wether God has created other religions or not. Though I m a muslim, I won't say God only created Islam. I can't say that unless I have a proper reasoning behind it.
ish pls don't consider a right thing, wrong. God HAS created the world and everything in it. He has created U. There is no joke about religions. It seems like u have no believe in God!!!!
If man has created everything, tell me how do u make water, tell me how do u create mountains?? Did YOU create all the planets, the whole solar system??

I believe God created everything. But note that it has been said... "...and everything He created was good." That must be a proof that God did not create sadness, fear or confusion but all these negative things are born out of our separation with God when our first parents had committed sin.

I'm confused with terms of religion. But right now, I'm considering an insight that perhaps religion doesn't matter as much as faith. If a person goes to church regularly but when he goes out steps on his fellowmen and treats others gravely, does it mean he's still good? Is it not better to show your faith in God through actions that you mean like helping others and doing charity works? There's must be a fine line between religion and faith.

well, if your a christian, i guess you would believe God created everything. I am personally not a Christian, but I have nothing against Christians. But, I also believe that other religion's deities created the world in thier views. As for if God created religion, I'm not sure if we will ever know. Maybe religion has always existed. I really do not know.

i don't think god made anything. people credit all the unexplainable things to god's account, so that nobody will question it. but being a Buddhist i really don't believe these mad ideas. there are reasons for everything and anything + there are solutions for each and every problem.
i think without a religion man is of waste. a man should believe in something may be a religion, a philosophy or at least good and bad of lives. i believe it really can direct a man to the heaven or to Nirvana (in my beliefs). non of the religions direct us to do bad things. so good to believe in whatever the religion u like to or what u feel as right.

This question is somewhat vague really, but ill answer it ^.^

God created everything in the beggining. It says "And god looked upon his creation and saw that everything was good". That is because in the beggining he created everything that existed there. This is where satan came in really. Lucifer one of the arch angels came down and created the first of the terrors of this world. The ultimate terror. "Sin". He created that therefore creating more havoc. As i said in the beggining god created light.the earth, matter, us, animals, humans, and the bible. But in turn lucifer created many habits formed by sin today such as killing and false idol worshipping. Now onto your question about "isnt other religions hypocritical". No not really. Its all just different interpretations. Let me relate this to a game of "telephone". Jack tells suzy "I want a drink". Suzy tellss molly "Jack fell in the sink". Molly tells rickey "Suzy likes it when you wink". religion is told many many times over and over in different interpretations. The ultimate religion was of course, christianity. But of course after reading the bible the people split up into different groups of believers. Some catholic who would be the strict interpretation of the bible. And the freewill group who followed gods word and interpreted it loosely. almost like the original consitution of america. Remember the federal government believed in a loose interpretation of the constitution so they could have the power to use it at will. but the state people wanted a strict interpretation so the federal powers cant overpower them. It all started with the original story of jesus. than i predict it got retold and edited from different people. the jews got angry and did not believe in the son of god. the bhuudists got a wrong interpretation of god and after much retelling the story changed. All religions are based off christianity. Its a fact.

God created everything in nature but he's not the author of lies. (The Bible specifically says that.)

And no, it's not the case that there's one big religion and all our "religions" are part of the bigger whole. The problem is that the true religion (Christianity) states specifically that all the others are lies. It can't stand alongside the others. It's either completely right or completely wrong.

Sweet, so since we have absolutely no proof of a global flood to support the 'great flood' myth and we know that the story of Genesis is patently false that some parts of Christianity are false, and following Craig's reasoning to it's logical conclusion, Christianity is therefore ALL wrong. We're finally making some progress here.

As to the original question of some pan-religion that includes all known religions as appendages - maybe. I question the need for religion per se. Each person may seek their god as they see fit but whether they find one or not they owe nobody nor a god to swear any allegiance nor membership in a religion. Religion, in my opinion, stands generally against enlightenment and for political aggrandizement of the religion itself and nothing more.

God created the universe, and put man in it. Man was given a free spirit to think, act and do as he chose. When man was first put on the earth he worshipped God.

Satan challenged God, and his authority. He declared to God that he could turn mankind away from worshipping him. God (for the time being) is allowing him to prove his point.

God did not create any religion, he simply wanted mankind to live in peace and harmony.

Sadly we have allowed Satan to distort our way of thinking, many religions have sprung up in opposition to worshipping the true God.

How do you know which is the true God? Simple.

God is love. If we lived in peace, helping each other, no boundaries, no wars no weapons that would be close to a true religion.

I have a personal relationship with God...but do not practice any particular religion. During the course of the past couple of weeks, He has given me three things. They are:

1. All worship is acceptable to God if it comes from the heart of a believer.

2. A personal relationship with Him is the key to spending eternity in His presence.

3. I am not to tell others how to worship or what to believe.

YES! God Created Everything! God gave men the idea's and knowledge for various Inventions! God is Who Sustains Us!

As far as Which 'Religion'? I don't think that there is 'Any' 'ONE'! I think that you have to Pray and ask God where He wants you to go.

Be at Peace! Accept God's Grace.

Take Care and God Bless!
