How can I keep my hair in a curly afro form?

Question

Id like to know what methods or products I can use to keep my afro in a curly form similar to Corbin Bleu/Justin Guarini...

^This is how it is when I get out the shower or put some like aloe vera in it but it doesnt stay that way... I want it to stay that way obviously.

So, any products or methods I can use?

get a perm for starters, it calmes the hair down then condition real good all the time with olive oil and a great cut would help too
