In the Scripture Satan was cast out of heaven for putting him self Above God. He had the sin of pride.

It's discussed in the Book of Revelation, and some claim that the "Day Star, Son of Morning, how you have fallen" quote from one of the Jewish prophets is a clear allusion to the devil's fall from grace (despite the fact that most believe it to be a reference to one of the local kings - probably nebuchadnezzar or something - I haven't really looked into the bible recently. Google "son of morning" and I'm sure you'll find the pertinent quote.

Bear in mind, though, that this is strictly jehovist partisan propaganda. We, on the other side, have a more well-rounded presentation of the story.

All the best,

Lazarus

here:
Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Luke 10
18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Revelation 20
2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The War in Heaven. Angrily, Lucifer used his divine gift of agency to make a decision that would lead to his eternal damnation. In bold opposition, he rebelled against God and “kept not his first estate.” “A third part of the hosts of heaven turned he away from me [the Lord God] because of their agency.” Even with the possibility of their eternal damnation, Heavenly Father would not take their agency from them. To do so would be counter to eternal law. As a result of their rebelliousness, Lucifer and his followers were cast out of heaven and forfeited the blessings of eternal life.

its because the author of the bible said...
"i need a antagonist"
and late in the old testament he introdused the early antagonist again.
then throughout the new testament the antagonist gained popularity.

but he totally forgot to edit the antagonist back in the fist couple chapters
so he later added him to another chapter

lol
