Blasphemy against the Spirit
- Therefore, I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven (Matthew 12:31)

Is the sin of attributing to Satan
- But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "This man drives out demons only by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons." (Matthew 12:24)

What is the work of the Spirit of God
- But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Matthew 12:28)

We really do not know why Jesus said this sin is unforgivable.

With love in Christ.

I have a declaration to make as to the provisions which God hath made to suit the conditions of man—made from before the foundation of the world. What has Jesus said? All sins, and all blasphemies, and every transgression, except one, that man can be guilty of, may be forgiven; and there is a salvation for all men, either in this world or the world to come, who have not committed the unpardonable sin, there being a provision either in this world or the world of spirits.

What must a man do to commit the unpardonable sin? He must receive the Holy Ghost, have the heavens opened unto him, and know God, and then sin against him. After a man has sinned against the Holy Ghost, there is no repentance for him. He has got to say that the sun does not shine while he sees it; he has got to deny Jesus Christ when the heavens have been opened unto him, and to deny the plan of salvation with his eyes open to the truth of it

final impenitence or rejecting the basic grace of God's self-sharing unto one's last breath. If you are still alive you have not yet come to that point,so turn to grace and don't worry. Only God can know the true state of the soul and judge it.

Blasphemy is any lie or false description. It can also be speaking against something. P.S. Sweetie Baby is wrong..., the bible says you can actually be blasphemous against God and Jesus and be forgiven, however, not the Holy Spirit.

I've tried to find this out myself, because I figured if I did it then Christians would have no reason to try to convert me because it is the one sin that can't be forgiven.

However, it turns out to be just another "if you have to ask you can't know" things. If you have even the slightest interest in the subject, then you haven't done it, apparently.

Unbelief...

Not accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. It has nothing to do with talking smack against God, that is a bad exegesis of the verse.

Using scripture or religion to further one's own own personal agenda rather than sincerely seeking a relationship with God.

Simply put (merely because I am tired not because I think you are simple) It is the continous denial of God.
