There was a fox .
One day it came to a vineyard where bunches of grapes were hanging. The fox saw the bunches hanging in an upper or an elevated level.
The fox tried . It jumped ,jumped and jumped.
The hungry fox could not reach the bunch of fruit .
Again it tried ......again failure.
At last the fox declared that the fruit called grapes bears just sore taste only .
Wherever the fox went ,it told that the fruit called grapes bears sore taste only. It made many other foxes also believe it and made them all hate the grapes and look down upon it.
Faith is the strength with which man can make an effort to see and God
Athiests don't have that strength ( Faith ).
Consequently they fail in their attempt to see God and then start declaring" there is no God ".
In a way he is true . because he can not ackowledge what he has never seen. He is spiritually blind to see God.
Of course ,we feel and know what Love is.
We can not deny the existence of Love just because it is not tangible or visible.
There are still people who can never understand even small logics.
As ,mentioned above the disappointed gruop of people automatically enter in to the disbelief of God and call themselves athiests.
Of course ther are number of athiests all over the world . They have been put together, like this only.
The Counterfaith is their gospel and scriptuer
disappointments ,
agitations,
irritations ,
jealousy,
blindness,
foolishness,
selfishness,
pride ,
arrogancy,.
faithlessness,
ungratefulness,
adamancy,
cruelty,
lie ,
jealousy,
negligence,
hatred towards Truth ,
bitterness,
grudge ,
ungodliness.
immorality ,
immoral sex,
humiliation,
discrimination,
vengence ,
Violence ,
so on ,
and so on are there gospels.
These are the unwritten gospel books with which they propegate their athiestic principles.
People who are wexed with their lives and souls find the athiestic principle to be good and convenient for them.
A sheep likes grass the most .
Do know what a pig really likes the most..?.Yea,human waste.
If you speak about the taste of Chocolate ,the pig won't listen to you .On the otherhand it will try to hurt you and kill you.
Taste differs.
One prefers to live in a house lit with light .
The other wants to live in the darkness of the worn- out and remote cemitaries .
One is wise ,the other is mad.
The Bible warns us not to spread pearls before the swines.
Many athiests have been converted to Christianity .
But no Christian is coverted to athiesm .
If at all some Christians became athiests ,not because of the athiestic scriptures supplied by them. But because of wexations like that of the fox.
Ofcours they write some this here and there and do publish also. They are just rustling leaves.
Thank you dear for your burden for the Truth .
God Bless you.

You raise a number of points, few of which are genuine questions.
1) Atheists don't have an agenda like you suggest - we are a disparate group of people linked by a lack of a belief in any god, yours or otherwise
2) Theists so often spam our sites that we don't need to go to religious sites to be harassed.
3) Atheism is not a religion - that's a common theist misconception.
4) A religion does not need to have written scriptures to be valid (which is different from being 'true') - Wicca is an example.
5) If you want to get into a 'pointing out all the mistakes in your scriptures' contest then this should be fun - I'll demolish you.
6) As for 'liking arguing about god' - not particularly... most of us just don't think that your, or anyone's god, is that interesting. It's not even particularly good fiction.

I don't personally know anyone who has been converted from christianity, but I'm sure there have been some. I'm not quite sure if I can answer what all atheists are here to do, we aren't exactly an organized group in most cases. Some may be here for simple, fun, debates, others to spread scientific fact, and yes, there will be idiots who do nothing but bash on Christians without for no reason other than to bash on Christians and followers of any other religion.
EDIT: Geese, I was hoping to be the first to answer. Shocking how many responses come up in seven minutes. lol
And just as a tip, I don't think many atheists will go around promoting atheism as a religion. Atheism is in fact, what one may call the polar opposite of a religion. It is simply the absence of any religion whatsoever.

I have no interest in converting anyone. The world would be a better place if religionists began to think, but I don't have any hope in helping to bring that about. It has to be done on their own. Facts, explanations, jokes, or any outside influence has much of an effect on faith.
I have never called atheism a religion, nor has any athiest I've ever encountered. That's usually a religionist's charge to demean athiest thought.
I come to this site because I enjoy seeing people argue about things that can never be reconciled between the parties. Also, I consider most of what a religionist says as the set up to a joke, and I like to supply the punch line. It just feels incomplete otherwise.

I'm agnostic but sometimes, I have to admit I try to get ball going faster for my best friend who's done with major religion but is falling with the spiritist crowd. My purpose is not to convert her into an agnostic but to get her to realize that the "supernatural" experiences she has are nothing more than normal experiences that she attributes to the existence of spirits. For example, she recently dreamed there was going to be a baby in the family and her mom did too, all of a sudden the spirit of the unborn child is speaking to her and now her quest is to find out who of her 3 sibblings will have a baby or it's maybe herself. I keep telling her it's just a dream and it is statistically possible to have the same dream as someone in your family. But I guess when you're tied down to myths you can't really let go.

You don't convert to atheism, because atheism is not a religion. The process of losing religious faith is called de-conversion or, as someone has pointed out, education. I was not an atheist when I started participating here, although I was beginning to question my beliefs. An atheist here had a great deal to do with me finally giving religion the boot, and that person doesn't even know who they are or that they were the catalyst. The answer to your initial question is that religious people can lose their faith as a result of communication with an atheist, but only if that faith is shaky to begin with.

I am sure there have been Christians who became drawn to atheism many times & quite possibly at a time when they are surrounded by other atheists. Intentional or not, I can see how it would be easy to get overwhelmed and be drawn toward atheism.
I have an atheist friend, who grew up in an atheist family, and we had so many talks about a belief vs. a non-belief in God. There were many times I had been drawn to the atheist way of thinking because so many of my religious feelings could easily have been explained away by neurology.
Right now, I am in a state of 50/50. It is not about Christianity alone. My current "self debate" is whether there is a God or higher being because it just makes no sense to be in this life to suffer to get to this place called heaven. Right now, I'm going through some hard grief and I just feel like the concept of going from here to there is like watching some really bad cartoon that has a bunch of characters who sit around suffering to get to a place called heaven. I don't know how else to put it.
For the most part, many of the atheists I have met have been extremely wonderful and nice people. They have not struck me as being any different than a Christian simply because they do not believe in a "God". And at this point, I am simply nothing because I am dealing with heavy grief right now. It can be hard to find a God when a loved one dies and your heart is ripped from you.
My friend and her family who are atheist did tend to bring up religion because to them, it is simply a case of "if you can't see it, it isn't there". They saw everything as a random act. And though they respected the idea of a religion, it was their opinion that people craved a religion because it made them feel life had a purpose and an after-life gave humanity a sense of comfort that atheists may not necessarily have. I guess in some sense, they may have tried to point this out because their way of thinking is different than the norm and I guess when it comes to human interaction, it is easy to try to express one's opinion and/or belief at any time.
To me, they both make sense. I couldn't jump in a debate because I am right down the middle at this point. For my loved one that just died, I am hoping there is a God. For me, I cannot imagine there being a God who would take her away from me. So I am definitely vulnerable to swing in any direction.

Yes, you are wrong.
"But instead all I find is unbelievers posting their justification for their unbelief. "
Is there something wrong with that?
" I really want to know what the atheist hopes to accomplish here. "
I cant speak for everone, but some common reasons are, boredom, desire to express beliefs to other people, to maybe, just maybe, change someones mind, to defend atheism.
"And if you say science is your bible, then your not atheist because you believe in science as a higher power, authority, and a means of justification."
Science book does equal "Higher power", especially not god.
none of us have ever said that anyway. and we do not dogmatically 'believe' everything they say is true, we accept theories as theories.
"as far as I can figure, you all just like to argue about God. Am I wrong?"
That's not 'all we do', no, but until you religious jerks leave you fairy tales out of our laws, and quit jamming it down our throats, we are gonna fight it.

There are Christians that became atheists and vice versa.
I am an atheist and I enjoy debating religion. However, I try to only do so when the topic is brought up or if someone tries to convert me. Religion is a personal choice. Who am I to say what you should believe? I just expect the same courtesy in return.

Is that really ALL you see? You must not be looking at this place without bias then. There are just as many Christians on here doing exactly what you claim the atheists are doing.
You seem to do a lot of "putting words in others mouths" don't you? I guess I won't answer the rest of your questions since you've got us all figured out :)
