Yogesh, I never said I am scared of death. I just wanted to hear how other people feel about it.

However, I used to have depression, and I treated it with meds.

As far as fearing death, I am not really sure how I feel about it. I think I fear losing loved ones more because I have endured losing loved ones that were very close to me. Sometimes, I get tired of losing loved ones so death for me may not be so bad.

Tanya, have you lost loved ones that you were close to? If not what do you think makes you think about death all of the time.

I would not want to live forever, just to keep losing loved ones and going through that pain.

I do want a long, good life. I hope I am 110 when I die. I have heard that our life spans are getting longer.

So terrified I cannot think about it without having a panic attack. I believe in god and the hereafter and I know its a part of life. But the thought is terrifying. I have broken out in hysterical tears just thinking about it. So yes I am terrified

NO! I don't WANT to die! I don't believe in an afterlife so I am not wishing my life away waiting for death to come and take me to a "Better Place" like many of the poor souls who answered your question. That said; I understand death as being a natural part of the life cycle so I am not afraid of it nor do I welcome it. It is simply a thing which, sooner or later, must be. (Preferably; LATER)

No. I actually long for it. Because I know it is a new beginning. I just hope I'm ready when the time comes. Now I have a baby coming. I'd like to be there for him. I guess the scary part is how you die. I don't want to be killed, tortured or in pain. However, we don't have that choice.

Yes, I have been so afraid of death. However, I also realized that the fear of dying is keeping me from living my life!

Im not sure. Im scared of how im going to die. But not the actual dying part. I mean, i dont want to like, be raped, or shot somewhere where it wont be instant. Or stabbed. that would suck. Pretty much, I dont want to be murdered. Id be dying before my time was up. Im not saying i want to die peacfully in my bed cuz thats next to impossible. But i dont want to be murdered. I want to die in a way as natural as possible. That way, i wouldn't be scared. Cuz id be expecting it. But if i was murdered, hell yeah id be scared. So it all depends on HOW you die really. weather youre scared or not.

sometimes I am scared of the physical part of death. We don't know how we will die. Car wreck? Cancer? Old age?
I am not afraid of after death because I am a Christian.

Hi:

While I am alive, I will live my life to the fullest that I possibly can and take it day to day. I am just now slowly, very slowly learning that life is good.

When my time comes and it is time for me to die, I will go willingly as I know I will be going to Heaven to be with God.

But while I am alive, I will live.
When my time to die comes, I will go.

It is as simple as that.

Be safe and be well.
