I don't like the thought of a micro chip implanted in our bodys. We would lose a lot of freedoms because of so much that can be done with the chip.
The Bible says he caused all... to receive a mark in their right hand or in their forehead. I have set in a meeting of one of the men who was on the staff that invented this chip. He says because of the battery recharging system it needs a certain temperature of the body. After much research they found the best place was in the back of the hand or in the forehead.
In the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible
Mark = 5480 charagma, a scratch or etching, i.e. stamp (as a badge of servitude), or sculptured figure:- graven, mark.
servitude - the state of subjection to another that constitutes or resembles slavery or serfdom ( Websters Dictionary)
The mark of the beast will be a way of causing all to be under subjection to the beast system. A slave or a servant to the system.
If all money transactions will be handled this way this would be what the Bible says, that we could not buy or sell unless we had the mark, or the name, or the number of his name. I have wondered if the number of his name is the number in the chip, like a credit card number.

Well I personally don't think I'd like someone knowing where i was at all times, and that would be the purpose of them right? On the other hand that could very well be the mark of the beast,I think as Christians we all believe it but just can't quite get how it can be done on such a large scale population.Since a micro chip can hold tons of info then its perfectly logical to think this might be the way.Techonogly unfortuntly has so much protential for abuse and not much protection from it.Scence fiction is becomming truer every day. That is something I would have to give quite a lot of thought too .Thanks for your question.

I completely agree with Don S's about the mark.
Personally, I would reject the chip as much as I could, regardless of the scripture and what the actual 'mark of the beast' is - I was not created with that chip in my body and there is no medical reason that it needs to be there. I am sure I will be told that it is perfectly safe but hey, are we not being told that about most of the drugs the pharmaceutical companies are pushing on us today, or most of the foods that are altered, sprayed, and injected for our consumtion? It is unnatural and that causes me concern.
I truly do not believe that having these chips will stop identity theft and opens the door for a lot of other problems for the average American

No and not because I think it is the mark of the beast. But the issue control. Anyone in their right mind would not want a tracking devise in their body, Christian or not. Do you realize the control the government would have over its people if such a thing ever happened? And if you are just a normal everyday person it might not effect you unless they (the government) wanted it to. No thank you I don't even like paying my taxes.

The number 666 is not a literal mark. Its the mark of a man. Those who have rejected the blood of Jesus have this mark on them already.God also has a mark or seal. Those who have excepted His Son and the Innocent have it.As for me I don't know what I would do with a computer chip but you could fill me up with them and I would still have the blood of Jesus on me.I have seen people with no morals at all go ballistic at the check-out counter because their change is $6.66.When all they really are is superstitious and deceived

I'm not a Christian, but I don't think I would want one.
How long would it take for them to start GPSing ppl, after implanting the chip?
Not that I do anything wrong, but it's just creepy.
I'd feel like some of my freedom was taken away.
On the bright side, you wouldn't have to carry cash around.
Of course, if you use direct deposit and pay with debit cards, you wouldn't have to carry cash anyway.
The chip is kind of pointless, I think.

No Thank You, if the Government tried to enforce such a thing it would be against my beliefs. In the Book of Revelations it talks about the mark of the beast.....If by the Chance it is a micro-chip, which it could easily be, as I understand it has All of your personal data, then according to the Word of God, you would belong to satan. One would have to be beheaded in order to be saved...Hopefully we won't have to see that, but it is written in the Bible.....That's why I wont do it....

Well, it would just depend on whether or not the chips were a necessity at the time. If I needed one in order to get by in modern society, then I would get one. If you're asking if I think it is a "mark of the beast" sort of thing, the answer is no.

It depends. Does everything prescribed by the government concerning these implants fit the mold of what scripture and the Church teaches about them? If yes then no I would not get them.
