How, and why?

It's an open question. I'm interested in what lies beyond logic and proof for R&S regulars.

Well I was very skeptic at first, but a series of events without any other explanation has slowly changed my mind. I guess I consider it proof from the Gods. Once you start to actively participate and have interest in Their ways, they start to have interest in you and participate in your life. After that, you never lack proof anymore.

I would say my quest has eliminated my need for constant validation. Some validation, every now and again, can be a good thing (no man is an island) but constant validation denies the value of one's own opinion.

To have one opinion: that is not the quest.
To have no opinion: that is not the quest.
To be able to have whichever opinion is best: that is the quest.

Yes I believe so. I spent 25 years in Christianity, and now 8 years as a Wiccan. I don't seek others approval, for I am at peace with my beliefs, and I am happy for others who have found their peace. I only question the need others feel to force their solution for peace on those around them. I neither hide nor loudly declare my faith, merely practice what I believe and live my life as best I can.

Absolutely not. We can easily be deceived. For something to be Truth it must be fact as well. The only way revelation can be understood is by the only thing God has revealed to us. It's all summed up and distilled to one Word, the eternal Word, Jesus, the Christ. His claims are valid and He's the Truth.

No, not for me. God validated me and my belief in Him a long time ago. I need nothing more...especially from fellow humans. I am constantly asking God to reveal to me those things that He wants me to know...when I need to know them. So far, He has always come through...and I know He will continue to do so.
