Am I frightened? Yeah, a little. Just think about this: after six years, corporate America has finally settled the insurance issues and whatnot with the world trade center and only now can anyone actually rebuild. This is the kind of nonsense that our world is filling up with.

You are right about some of these answers... but the only ones I really have to disagree with are the ones like:

"It's your everlasting life your throwing away by not believing." Who can say, "intolerant?" Here it is, the classic "everyone else goes to hell except for ME because I'm superior" mentality. That's dangerous, that is.

It reminds me of a joke, though, in which a man belonging to (insert religion here) goes to heaven and is greeted by an angel who gives him a tour. They start to get close to a building when the angel says, "Shh, be quite while we go past here." They tiptoe past and when the man asks why they did that, the angel answers, "Oh, those are the (insert religion here) -- they think they're the only ones up here."

It's funny when you tell it with actual religions inserted, and you really can pick almsot any religion because that's how it is in life. Everyone thinks they're alone up there, and it's silly if you ask me.

Why don't all good people get eternal life, HUH? Because they "don't believe in God" which makes them "evil?" Why?

Religion is okay. Intolerance, even thinly veiled, is not.

It's a free country and you can practice any religion you want....blah, blah, blah and all that. I agree that you should be able to do anything you want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. That is why I don't care about all of the fundie nutcases out there until they start messing with the laws and the public institutions. Then I get a little crazy--and justifiably so because there is no nation so dangerous as a theocracy. Why is it the fundie christians don't see how similar they are to the fundie Muslims they so despise?

I've been frightened for America for ten to fifteen years now. Most people don't seem to notice anything but the intelligence level of Americans used to be good but in the past decade or so it's gone way down.

I don't think I can speak for everyone, but I do think we have a Lot of enemies. Sept 11th didn't happen out of Love.... So I think we have reason to be concerned. I cannot say I trust many other Nations...Just too many ready to push the button...

I'm worried, but I've got a plan.

When America collapses into a dystopian wasteland with roaming gangs of Evangelicals, I'm going to rally the Boulderites to put up signs near the city that say "free Bibles --- this way --->" with arrows pointing toward Colorado Springs.

It'll sort of help keep them at bay.

Wow... the delusion and ignorance of those answers is staggering. Absolutely staggering. Unfortunately, I know people in real life that do belief as they do... this country is doomed.
