I am 19 years old---and I have weight issues. I am a healthy weight of 132 pounds for my height. However, I would love to be 5 to 10 pounds thinner. I have always tried but my weight fluctuates like a yo yo. In the same week I can go from 125 to 135. I work 50-55 hours a week and go to school. So I really don't have time to go to a gym. I do try to work out any free time I have. I eat 3 times a day or less. I have tried dietary supplements but nothing works. I even sit down in front of my tv and do crunches and lift weights at home. Does any one know of some ways I could lose 5 to 10 pounds and keep it off for good!!!! Is it meant to be???? Please help

Try juicing every 2 hrs and eat a vegetable soup for dinner for 3-5 days. The juices needs to be home made juices.
This can help you clean your system and help you lose up to 5 pounds in a few days!
After the 3-5 days are over, eat healthy, wholesome foods. Eat your veggies, fruits and salads. Take a 20 mins. walk every time you have a chance. And every 3 months you can repeat the same cleansing, to keep your body cleansed and drop some pounds in case it comes back.

Take care! :)

Hello, I really feel for you as I am currently going through the same thing. I put on 40 kilos during my pregnancy and have only lost 5 of them in 18 months, I pay $110 a week to have healthy meals cooked and delivered to me and yet I still get bored or sick or ANY excuse will do to eat some chocolate or just anything really. I was diagnosed with depression/anxiety and the medication has helped me to lose some weight because it stops the anxiety feelings being confused with hunger. It is hard to lose weight, I have lost 15 kilos before (before i fell pregnant) and I did it by having a goal of passing the police academy fitness test, perhaps you can take up a hobby or enter a marathon or something which will motivate you to exercise more and lose weigh as a consequence. I also kept a food diary and monitored every calorie I consumed sticking to 1200 a day, try it and see how it goes for you, if you want to talk to someone you can email me : )

Yep. If you dont have time to work out, eat more, not less. If you can train yourself to eat 5-6 small meals a day, your body wont store as much because it knows that more food will be coming soon. It also will increase your metabolism to burn through that food before you eat more. Eating less that 3 times a day is just asking to gain weight. Your body doesnt know when the next meal will be, so you have put it into starvation mode and it stores more food in the form of fat. Plus there is always time to go for a run.

Before you start to use any supplements to loose the weight the best thing for you to do would be to start with a colon cleanser because, a lot of the excess weight could be toxics already in your body. On top of the toxins ask yourself this, how frequently you use the bathroom for a number 2 during the day. If you use it less than twice a day then you are already under the daily requirements. Think for a second about a baby, as soon as they eat few hours later they go; this should also be the same for you the only reason it doesn’t happen to us is, our system already has a buildup of all the times we didn’t use the toilet for excretion. Our body’s can’t excrete twice daily because we haven’t gotten rid what we ate two days ago and this builds up turning into years. Now imagine how many days a year you don’t use the bathroom at least twice a day (probably everyday for most of us) then multiply that by all the years you haven’t been doing this and you will start to imagine how much toxic buildup you have in your system. Not cleansing leads to colon cancer. So if you really want to be healthy and are looking to loose weight start with a colon cleanser. There are lots of different ways to cleanse your colon, you could be flushed out, a lot of celebrities receive all kinds of treatment for it, surgery, there are laxatives etc. The best colon cleanser that I recommend based on experience is called Nutri-Clean. It is an herbal colon cleanser that’s cheaper than any surgery or clinical method. It comes with a 7-day supply kit with instructions, it will help cleanse your system in 7 days and train your body to use the bathroom at least 2 times a day. It does not work like a traditional laxative where you’ll be running to the bathroom every five seconds because of diarrhea. You can adjust how much you wish to go by simply increases or decreasing how much water in take during the day. To view Nutri-Clean and all the information, you can find it at
https://www.marketamerica.com/blittrean/index.cfm?action=shopping.uoProduct&storeID=8&prodID=13281
The Nutri-Clean is only required to be taken every 6 months or twice a year to maintain a healthy digestive tract.
Ultimate Aloe Juice would also aid in the cleansing and overall digestive health

After the Colon Cleanse, to maintain a healthy digestive system it is recommended you take Isotonix Digestive Enzyme with Probiotics. Once you cleanse your digestive tract the best thing to do would be to replenish it back to the state in which it contains the right amount of healthy bacteria needed in our intestines for digestion and absorption.

Once your system is clean the best place I can refer you to for Weight Management and Weight Control would be a system called Transitions that helps people looking to loose or maintain weight while eating right with healthy foods

Hope This Helps

The secret to weight loss is cutting calories. really. I weigh about the same as you and often have the problem of it fluctuating anywhere from 110 to 130. I weigh closer to 110 when I eat less calories, and if cutting calories is a problem then you need to do cardiovascular exercise, the best and most efficient being running. Muscle exercises will only build muscle and and make you weigh more, even though muscles burn more calories. It's good to lift weights and do crunches but you need to do cardiovascular exercises as well.

the first problem i see its not eating frequently enough for your body to let fat reserves go.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Always Think Fit:

First step in exercise is to always Think FIT. To make physical improvements, you need to work your body harder than usual. This is referred to as the overload principle. As your body becomes more conditioned, you need to increase the frequency, intensity, or time of your workouts in order to continue improving your fitness level

Choosing an Exercise:
The best exercise is an activity that you enjoy enough to really pursue enthusiastically.
• Indoor (Facility) Activities: If the treadmill, stairmaster, rowing machine or stationery cycle doesn't excite you, sample some group activities that strike your fancy. Participate in a group cycling class, beat stress with yoga, find balance with martial arts, stay cool with indoor swimming, or kick some you-know-what with boxaerobics.

1. Change your eating habits (i.e. start eating smaller portions of food) before if you ate a full plate of food try eating 2/3 of a plate instead.
2.
o Substitute aspartame for sugar
o Try eating 3 or 4 smaller meals during the day rather than 2 large ones
o Eat your main large meal at midday with the other meals much smaller in content
o Don't eat heavy meals late in the evening as the body wont have time to digest it so it ends up stored as fat in your body.
o Balance your meals out during the day so in one day you have a mix of protein, carbohydrate and vitamins
o Drink lots of water during the day and before, during and after exercise, you should drink at least 8 big glasses of water per 24 hours
o Drink alcohol in moderation
o Stop smoking if you smoke or cut down
o Eat more fibre i.e. pulses grains nuts, pasta, brown rice, cereals, fresh fruit
o Eat more vegetables as part of your diet
o Eat less dairy products or choose those with less fat content i.e. cottage cheese
o Try steaming or poaching food instead of frying it, frying adds calories by the bucketful
o Cut down on Red meat and eat more lean or better still chicken and fish instead
o Use low fat oils in cooking i.e. sunflower, corn or Mazola
o Cut down on your salt intake, there are hidden salts even in tinned foods
o Try substituting carrots or fresh fruit instead of biscuits and sweetmeat when you have a craving for something in between meals.
o Drink semi or skimmed milk as opposed to full cream
Simply choose a diet which is low in fat and cholesterol, moderate in sugar and salt and high in fibre but at the same time has a variety of everything thus making it a balanced diet.

Calculate your BMR!!!!
BMR means Basal Metabolic Rate.It is used to estimate how many calories you should consume.By using a simple formula called the Harris-Benedict principle, you can assess your BMR.
Your BMR is the amount of energy your body needs to function. Then, to lose weight, you'll need to cut calories or burn extra calories and shoot for a level lower than the results you get with this formula.
We use about 60 percent of the calories we consume each day for basic bodily functions such as breathing.Other factors that influence your BMR are height, weight, age and sex.
Step One : Calculate your BMR with the following formula:
• Women: BMR = 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)
• Men: BMR = 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)
Step two : In order to incorporate activity into your daily caloric needs, do the following calculation:
• If you are sedentary : BMR x 1.2
• If you are lightly active: BMR x 1.375
• If you are moderately active (You exercise most days a week.): BMR x 1.55
• If you are very active (You exercise daily.): BMR x 1.725
• If you are extra active (You do hard labor or are in athletic training.): BMR x 1.9
Create a Calorie Deficit:
In order to lose weight, you must create a calorie deficit. It is easier and healthier to cut back your calorie intake a little bit at a time.
Every 3,500 calories is equivalent to 1 pound.
If you cut back 500 calories a day, you will lose 1 pound per week.
If you exercise to burn off 500 calories a day you will also lose 1 pound per week.
Ideally, you should do a combination of both, (e.g. cut back 250 calories; burn an extra 250 calories).
