Trying to narrow it down to only 5 musicians is mighty hard. After all, we're talking about nearly 100 years, almost the entire history of recorded music. What the Hell....I'll try it anyhow.

Son House

Muddy Waters
Sonny Boy Williamson
Howling Wolf
Ma Rainey
T Bone Walker
B B King
Albert King
John Lee Hooker
Buddy Guy
R L Burnside
Albert Collins
Willie Dixon
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Koko Taylor
John Mayall
Luther Allison
(I just couldn't cut it any shorter.....tough question)

Allman Brothers Band - Live At The Fillmore East

My dad played with John Lee Hooker at a dive bar CA back in 92. He was also with a band that opened for Muddy Watters, Pat Travers, and he can play a better "Whammer Jammer" than J. Giles himself! So I guess he would be my number #1

Rippin' Rick Boss

formerly with a band called Out of the Blue, then Badlands Meanie Band, and currently with a country, rock and boogie band called Blackwater 5

But I do like all of the above, too =0)
