It will cost you less to print them at your local photo lab. And the prints will probably be better and more archival.

However, the Epson Picturemate is a good 4x6 printer, and fairly economical. A print pack, with ink and 100 sheets of 4x6 paper costs about $30. Buy an extra pack of paper because the ink will last longer than 100 sheets, so you can squeeze some extra prints from the ink cartridge. You can hook it to your computer, or print directly from your camera card, which makes it great to use on location.
