Believe it or not, a touch of WD40 works wonders on those sticky spots! Put a bit on, let it penetrate, and it usually rubs right off!

Eucalyptus oil is really great for removing the adhesive from stickers.

I can also highly recommend nail polish remover. We use this in our hospital frequently to remove the adhesive that always comes off of medical tape.

I use tape. If you rub the tape on well, then rip it, and repeat it several times, it will eventually get all the residue off.

a product called goo gone takes it RIGHT off. i'm pretty sure you can use it on food prep things as long as you can put them in the dishwasher. otherwise maybe you could try washing it really well.

Non-aerosol hairspray works like a wonder! Then just wash well.
