They are great dogs! I don't own one, but I have a friend who owns and shows Tibbies, as they are called. Cute, sassy, and smart! But independent and stubborn! If you want a dog that is going to do everything you tell it, this is not your dog. If you want a dog that is going to be a lot of fun, get a Tibbie! There is an American Tibetan Spaniel Club--check it out.

I'm a little skeptical about it because the Spaniel originated from Spain as a hunting dog.
