ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY! Divorce prevented a suicide or a homicide. Still not sure which way it would have gone. =)
Woo hoo for divorce!

In my experience, it has been both a virtue and vulture. I had to raise a child alone without any help from the father. Kudoes to me! But I knew that would happen prior to the divorce. A child though doesn't understand why that parent suddenly is MIA in their lives. It is a vulture because it was harder to find work that paid well enough to get a decent place to live, pay child care, buy food, and etc. So it can be a dual beast.

Yes, and no.
Because of a divorce, I got rid of a woman that slept around - a lot. It also allowed me to find a woman that I love very much and that has given us the most beautiful little boy in the world.
I wish that I didn't get divorced, but it happened.

Which divorce? It's impossible to draw such a broad conclusion in a society that values individual well-being as strongly as it values the community connections we have.

I am currently in love with a hampster, and our marriage is strong. If you would come to your senses and marry your own pet, you would not have to go through all the hoopla of a divorce.

I think I'd be a lot more screwed up now if my parents hadn't divorced.
