Its possible... your going to have to ask a person knowledgeable in Catholic dogma.

It would be interesting to see if their is a historic connection.

i think bowing is just a tradition of worship through Abrahamic faiths.

Muslims bow as well, with heads to the ground during prayer. Jews bow this way during a special Amidah for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.

Jews also bow during Barchu and Aleinu, and there are more.

Like Gam Zu Letovah said, there's probably no connection whatsoever. A lot of different groups bow during religious ceremonies. It's a pretty common way of showing respect and submission.

The mass used all form of worship, including Judaic ones.

If may be that the Christian bow has Judaic roots, but there is limit similarities between Roman and Jewish cultures.

you got that wrong...Jews never bow in religious ceremony.
