If that picture is accurate... then I'm sure more than just Christians are staring at you in public (pretty much all immature or sheltered individuals)
What makes you think only Christians stare?

Just smile and say, "Hello."
Keep in mind that people are just people. All of us are imperfect, and fall short of the perfection and glory of God. Some folks just do things without thinking.
Of course, if you are decidedly different than people around you, that fact tends to stand out. Being different is not a bad thing, but people need to determine within their own minds if your differences are "Good" or "Bad". They have to decide if you present a danger or not.
When I was young, I was "different". I have naturally jet-black hair. (Well now, at my age, it is going white.....) Anyway, I had a big patch of my hair right up front dyed platinum blonde.
I got a lot of folks staring at me, all right. If they got obnoxious about it I suggested that they take a picture, as it would last longer....... My kids thought I was "Cool". Their friends thought so too. I lived on the West Coast at the time, so being different was "normal".
It did not go over so well when my work brought me to the midwest. I learned to conform some over time.
I am a deeply religious individual, and am Christian through and through. I do respect the individuality of each person. Many Christians are the same. But, like I said, we are imperfect human beings, and we do tend to do stupid stuff every once in a while. When you see one of us doing so, try to forgive us, and just be friendly. We'll get over it, and respond to the real you.

By what I see, it would be prejudice to assume that people staring at you are all Christians. Anyway, when you are in public, how do you know which staring at you are Christian and which are not? I know some who dress quite a bit like you as it is.
Just smile. You apparently like the attention - otherwise, you wouldn't try to stand out.

Never let other peoples opinions devastate you.
If you are nekked, put some appropriate clothing on.
Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself if the way you look is outside of the bounds of social responsibility in regards to thumbing your nose at society.

Actaully the christians in my church look worse then you. I have seen some of the youth with purple hair or black and blue hair or red, whilte and blue hair, or I have seen some metro-sexual guys come to my church to, who are skater's. Some emo's and some goth, we try to ask the goth to not look so depressed because god saved them not made them want to die after he saved them, so we ask them to take off their war paint (black make-up). Otherwise all other wild colors are welcome.

You could flip them off, but I don't think it's considered proper.

If you go to church looking like that, you will get stares--as you well know. Why are you complaining--you're getting what you want.

It would be proper for you to treat them the same way you would want to be treated. Smile at them and say hi. : )
