Yeah.. its called I-duno-the-answer- so-I-gota-pick-on-you-instead disorder.
I must admit it can be frustrating when people cant write correctly but with a little effort you can usually figure it out and there is never any need to be rude about it.
Most of the time, these people have english as their second language, which means they already have a first language and are learning a new one, which is more than I can say for most of the people who are being rude! These people are actually probably smarted than the people answering to begin with!

Ya the disorder is called liberalisim or maybe analism! It's the mind set that people are dumb and need to be corrected or have laws passed to help them be the "correct" way.
Like correcting someone's spelling will make them see the error of thier ways and try harder next time! Ya right! Like you'll seem smarter for pointing out something any spell check could.
Just like "Lov'n IT!" here above me, she thinks we should all conform to HER idea of what's right. Like, my bad spelling degrades her education or something. And spell checkers like the one built into this page don't always work right anyway, so many times they choose the wrong word.
The english language is one of the hardest on earth to spell in, it has almost no rules to how a particular sounding word is spelled, compared to others.
I aced the hardest language test the U.S. Army has wich tests you on how easy you learn the rules of a made-up language, a cross between navajo and arabic, had a record score for my area, my I.Q. puts me in the top 20% of the population, yet I spell at a 4th grade level, and people still try to say I'm stupid for not being good in one school book area, lol. Einstien couldn't speak 'till he was 7. I don't see much connection between I.Q. and just about ANY area of school learning. I might be a retard but it's not cuz I can't spell!
I see anal spelling people as trying to compinsate to hide thier low I.Q. or something. Like, "Look I caught a spelling error you made, so I'm smarter than you, ha ha ha!" Trust me spell checker people if you knew how transperent it made you look, you'd never do it again!!
Live and let live people!

I personally do become quite irritated when i have to correct garble that is written. It is pure laziness when people write incorrectly and there is no need. I understand if it is a simple misspelling, or an accidental punctuation used, but there is a point where you must draw a line. It is most likely personal as some people do not care either way, but I think that when people write like that, they are either lazy or uneducated. Neither is something i would be proud of.
