First of all, did a vet do a DTM culture to determine if it is ringworm? If so, there are several therapies that work well. Lym sulfa dips, griseofulvin tablets (both given for 6 weeks). Program has been proven to work, but is incredibly expensive and not practical. Your vet should be helping you with this!!

Yes, ringworm is a problem! There are many treatments, the easiest is Program for cats, give them a pill and it stops ringworm. You need to realize that ringworm is contagious to humans as well as other cats and dogs. Ringworm is a fungus that is contagious on contact. Please re check with your Vet or your GP doctor about Ringworm. Yes, you can apply a topical medication to the area on your cat that is missing hair for months and you can apply that same medication to you arms etc. You need to ask more questions because there are other ways to get rid of ringworm!
