New Dale Jr. "mock" paint scheme?

Question

If I had it my way, Jr. would get the #8 and still have budweiser as a sponsor. But knowing Teresa, she probably won't give up the #8 any who knows what's going to happen with bud.

This is a just a "mock" paint scheme done by fan(s) of his new car with the #5. I did NOT do this myself. It's a photoshop fantasy of Jr.'s new car if budweiser decides to sponsor him in the future and he gets the #5. It was on Wind tunnel tonight and I though it looked sick in black and red. (It would look better with the #8 though)

Wow, I hadn't seen that picture before. It actually looks really nice. I think I like it even better than the paint scheme has runs now. As alot of people have said, the number 8 would look alot better than the 5 for me (maybe Kyle Busch will go to DEI and the two teams can come up with a deal to trade the numbers).

The other uncertainty is if Bud will be Jr's sponsor next year. I believe all of the Hendrick sponsors are locked up through the end of the 2008 season. Normally I'd say that Hendrick could buy out Kellogs and allow Bud to come in, but he seems to be a guy that wouldn't want to mess up a long standing relationship with a good sponsor.

On the other hand Hendrick said that he didn't want to change Jr's persona. Most take that to mean that he won't force Jr to change the way he dresses and talks to be a corporate men like Gordon and Johnson. Some could argue that Budweiser is a HUGE part of his personality as well.

Here's to hoping Jr gets Bud, the #8, and an awesome paint scheme similar to the one in this pic.

Looks Great to me. However, Bud has not said a word as of yet. SO, what are we gonna do if the new sponsor is, say, Kotex or Eve ??? Now that would be a horse of a diff color. I'm thinken that Bud will not go with Jr. Just a feeling. And being a betting man, I'm betten that he will never drive either of two numbers, the 8 nor the 3. He has already said the # 3 was his Dads and he would never use it even if he could, unless he had 80 wins and a bunch of champs.

I don't know who did this scheme, but.....WOW!!!! I have been an Earnhardt fan since 1984 and a Jr fan since he started driving late model sportsmans. I even followed Kelley's and Kerry's career since then when they drove a 3 car team for Mom-N-Pops. If it has to be the 5, this would be cool! Maybe Mears and Hendricks will let Jr have the 25. Bud did sponsor Papa Hendricks 25 car.

The paint scheme is cool looking. Your right I doubt that the number 8 will come with Jr. to Hendrick. Although if you think about it Jr can still drive a number 8 car though. It would be 08 though.

Pretty sweet, would be better with either the 8 or years ago Bud sponsored the 25 for Hendrick and it would be cool if they did that if they couldn't get the 8.

That's really cool. I just think I'm going to have a hard time seeing Jr. as the 5 car instead of the 8 car. I hope Teresa lets go of it. He has more right to it than she does!

I like it. It's better than the last paint scheme. All red got a little boring after seeing it often.

yea thts pretty cool but would look way better with the number 8 on it but like u said i doubt teresa will let jr have or buy the number 8 she'll be a spoiled self fish brat and keep it like everything else.....
