My recommendation if you want a free OS is to try Ubuntu Linux. Heres the link: http://www.ubuntu.com/
And there is no legal way to get a free copy of Vista

I could give an illegal site to download it from. But I am sorry I don't want to do that. Cause I don't like downloading illegal softwares. Anyways there are many people who have been arrested for downloading illegal materials on the internet, even on limewire.
