eew really? my dog's eyes are just red at the white part. you should go see you local vet, it could be making him blind or even be life threatening.

I am not sure but take your dog to the vet soon. My dogs white part of the eye was red( but it didn't have a bunch of stuff under it) I took him to the vet and the vet said that it was just allergies but he still gave him medication. So just take your dog to the vet.

Go get some visine pure tears, its a dry eye relief. my dog has the same problem and the vet said that she is not producing tears, causing the grenn stuff all around her eye. Dont get the regular eye redness reliever, get visine pure tears, its the same stuff that tears r made from. It helped my dawg, a 12 yr old boston terrior, but hurry up cause the dog could go blind if u wait to long

it could be entropian.thats when the dogs eyelashes curl into the eye and his eye will become infected .must take to vet .my dog just had his eyelashes plucked to prevent just that.a good vet will do that if the breed of dog you have is suseptible to succh things.also could be cherry eye.thats when the tear ducts fall out and the dogs eyes get very dry and red.go to vet either way
