There is no legal way to get credit as a minor. You have to be of legal age because you are signing a contract and if you are not or legal age then there is no way that the creditor can make sure that you pay. You have to wait until you are 18 then at that point you can possibly get a student credit card.

Truthfully, the answer is no. Someone under the age of 18 cannot enter into a binding contract with most credit card banks.
The only way to get a credit card with your name is to have someone else (over 18) the primary and request a card in your name.

A minor cannot legally execute a contract or create a debt.
There is a new type of card which is prepaid by the user.
This could be used by a minor, but does not involve credit.
It's similar to a telephone card, you pay money into it.
McDonalds, Wal-Mart, & many other big-box stores supply them
to their customers. But you can only use these at their stores.
The advantage is, you can use it like a credit/debit card.
But you cannot go into debt!

YES. fill out the forms they send in you the mail.
WARNING - you will get locked into a bad deal doing this.
but it's possible, since most credit card offers you get in the mail are not well-reviewed when you return them.
just a thought. but of course, i advise against ANYONE getting a credit card unless they are gainfully employed and have a sincere need to be in debt outside of basic necessities like house and car...

ONLY if their parent or legal guardian co-signs for the card. Even so, some banks won't even do it that way.
A minor cannot enter into a binding contract by themselves.
