Not weird - what you are is considered a "hoarder". I sure hope you have help taking care of all those animals! ☺

Why do you have so many pets at your home? You can't possibly give them all personal attention. Are you a rescue organization? Do you try to find homes for the adoptable ones? I hope you have a large plot of land to let these animals run, and lots of food. How do you keep them up-to-date on their shots?

Is it weird? Yes, unless you're just boarding the animals until an owner can be found. I suspect that you are low on human relationships and are using the animals' love to compensate.

Just don't allow your home to become filthy and overrun, because that's cruelty to animals, not to mention yourself. They must have their shots and a habitable home or you're breaking the law.

I know you care about these guys, but you could give a lot more love and attention to a few if there weren't so many.

It's called hoarding..and it is not normal. Most hoarders do not or cannot afford to take care of the animals they have, which in result leads to many diseases between the animals that can even end up making the owner sick. Most if not all of these animals go untreated and become very sick, suffer, and die. But for some reason the "hoarder" does not see it this way. I suggest you see a counselor about it and give these animals up to a good home that can give them all the direct attention that they deserve. I understand that you may love them, but if you really love them, let them have a home where they can have the attention they need to be healthy!

No more weird than our 10 dogs, 8 cats, 4 pygmy goats, 5 rabbits, 2 ferrets, 1 rat, 1 vole, 7 guinea pigs, 4 hamsters, 2 snakes, 4 cockatiels, 4 parakeets, 3 doves, 2 tortoises, 5 turtles, and 27 assorted lizards!

As long as you can afford them financially and can provide them the love and care they need - more power to you!

Not weird, possibly a mental disorder (recognized) known as hoarding:

I say this without knowing your exact situation, but really- I doubt you have the time, space, or $ to PROPERLY care for all those animals. Take a real, hard, honest look at your situation- are the animals getting all they need? Is their environment clean? Are they all properly fed and vetted?

Maybe they are- again, don't know your specifics, but that is an abnormal amount of pets, more than most could care for the right way. if you wonder if you have a problem with hoarding, please consult a therapist or your Doctor.

Gee, you must love animals, no I don't think there is anything wrong with having that many pets, as long as your taking care of them and feed them, and take them to the vet when they need to go. And most of all you give each and everyone of them their own special loves. You must live on a farm and it must be really expensive too feed all of them. I have 5 cats and two of those 5 had kittens so now I have 9 kittens but there too young to eat food, but to feed the others I find it expensive, especially that both moms each alot just to feed their kittens. But I do it cuz I love them. I would strave before I would let them strave.

Unless you are running a rescue organization there, it's not appropriate to have that many animals. There is no way one person can properly care for that many dogs and cats and rabbits.

Not only is it a mental illness, it's probably against city or county ordinances to own that many cats and dogs, unless you live in a rural area.

All those poor animals....

You have 116 pets. This is definetley hoarding and there is no way you can possible be giving all these animals proper attention and care. If you were, then you wouldn't have time to be on the internet asking questions!

If you have the money, time, and heart to care for every single one of these animal's needs; then no.

However, there is hardly a person on this planet that can provide the care all these animals need.
Spay them all. Neuter them all. It looks like its going to soon get out of hand.
