What's 8th grade like?

For me eighth grade was a pretty good year. Your finally at the top of the school. It's also the last year you can truly mess around without it effecting your future. Although you can still screw up if you make a big mistake. One thing eight grade has is a lot of is drama. Try to stay out of it the best you can. Just make sure you have fun. After middle school when people go to different high schools they don't really keep in touch. Most of my best friends from middle school I haven't talked to since eighth grade so make your last year together worthwhile. Make good decisions. As corney as it sounds its true. Your gonna have many temptations like drugs, sex, alchohol, and shoplifting . While it may be fun at first it wont be fun when you get arrested(like I did). Don't have sex if you don't want to called a whore. Don't do pot if you don't want to be called a pothead. If people call you names that aren't true than just ignore them. People are always gonna make up rumors and gossip. Basically make your last year of middle school fun and carefree. Good luck!!

TOUGH ~ middle school or jr. high is the toughest years you will ever have in school. You are changing from a kid to an young adult. hormones are all screwed up, kids don't know if they can be kids or if they need to be adults. Also there are alot of pressure, like drinking, drugs, sex, etc.
These are the years that will define WHO YOU ARE and what your character is. Take things slow ~ don't go with the crowd. Take you time, think things through, ask for assistance and help with the things you are struggling with. People (adults) want to help you get through it. They have been there, trust me, but they don't want to "control" you they just want you to be aware of the pressures and the consequences and tell you the truth so you can make up your mind. This is how you GROW into a GREAT PERSON and a GREAT TEENAGER & ADULT.

For me 8th grade is not bad (or at least the first half). It is so much better that last year, where there was constant drama, people attempting to date, and just all of us being 13, which is insanely awkward and painful.

Well, it sorta sucks. You're the lowest of the grades in high school & everything is new. The grade 12's will most likely push you guys around, but don't worry. It happens to everyone. When it comes to learning content, a lot of it is review from grade 7. Don't get excited though, there's a lot of new stuff too. One piece of advice; don't try to be cool. Didn't work for me, most likely won't work for you.

for my school people were a lot nicer in 8th grade than 7th but that is just my school. try to get nice clothes and mabey nice make up if u need it. also a good hair cut. clothes from hollister is what alot of ppl wear. alot of the classes wear harder to. just stay out of trouble keep ur grades up and ur friends close

i remember when i was in 8th grade. it was cool because I was older than all the rest of the grades. its nice. im in 10th grade now. getting to 10th grade is where you wanna be because you wont be considered a little middle schooler or a little freshman. lol. but in 8th grade you get to rule the school. lol. all the sixth graders and seventh graders are jelous of you. lol but when you become a freshman its like becoming a sixth grader again

i LOVED 8th grade!!! it was my favorite school year. its where i met my first love. you'll have more crushes, more heartbreaks, more homework and more responsibilities. but it is by far one of the best times. if your school is a jrhigh you have nothing to sweet. not till your the 9thgrader or freshmen or at my school "freshmeat" then you have to worry. but now you get to rule the school and its just a blast. even if your not populare and in total charge, the 6th and 7th graders dont know that. so live it up. just watch out for the "wanna be bad *** stoners" their not that tough. you'll do GREAT!!

well last year i went to the 8th grade at first i didnt like it because everybody told me it real hard.And i began to take that to the head but when i tried it for myself i liked it.At my school you have a lot of freedom it you prove to the teachers you are capable ya know.

it was so fun for me because if your middle school is only 7th and 8th graders then you get to rule the school yea i agree with the person above me to(I did not end thing with the guy i liked alot either)
