In 1984 I was hit by a H&R driver and died on the operating table as they were slicing me open. They grabbed my heart in their hands and started massaging it while pouring warm blood over it to get it beating again. On the gurney going into the OR I had cried out to God. I said," God if you pull me thru this I'll give up my sin and serve you the rest of my life." I lost consciousness at that point. I remember seeing a very bright light at the end of a tunnel . And I was getting closer to the light and then I felt the power of God racing thru my body. I had this overwhwlming peace, like I was floating and I knew that God was there and that he was going to save my life. After that I was in the hospital 3.5 months. I lost 9 ribs, half my left lung, my left kidney, my spleen, 1/3 of my pancreas, 2 feet of my lower intestine, my gall bladder and enough blood to fill up my body 10 times . I was in intensive care for 40 something days, on dialysis for 5 weeks, and every major organ in my body failed due to the massive infection I had gotten. My body was swollen up to twice its normal size. I broke the record at the hospital for having the highest white blood cell count with out dieing. they gave me only a 10 percent chance of survival. God had different ideas .It was an experience Ill never forget. God saved me and now I serve him with all my heart. Praise His Name !!! Cap'nArlo

yes me . i have almost died of an asthma attack . i was in the er already get a mask treatment i had been at my doctors office and she had told me i should be taken to the er by the ambulance but i said no i will drive myself there. so anyway while i was getting the treatment i sat alone on the end of the strecher when i felt a precence behind me . i looked and it was the grim reaper just like you have seen in the movies . anyway i instantly thought said in my head get lost i am not going . anyway my asthma got a great deal worse fast . the nurses and doctor all surronded me and i had needles in my wrists so fast i had no idea how many i had blood gases they were taking . anyway the doctor a female started to cry she said to the nurse isnt there a way to get more oxagen into him cant we close the holes on the mask . the nurse said no then he would not be able to breath out . that part sounded funny and i felt sorry for the doctor i could see the tears in her eyes. she had the crash cart called and was about to put the tube in me and had the cart charged when i just got better.
i spent a few nights in the critical care and then about a week later i got out .
since that time i have seen an angel along with my mom .
i am glad at times i didnt die that day but at times i am not really to pleased with it .
oh i have seen a doctor and no i have never had an halluncintion even the doctor agreed that what i saw was not imagined .

I posted a Q about this the other day, well similar. I was in a coma....one evening I was out Christmas shopping with my mom,,,the next day,,,I lay in a coma near death. The first 5 days the doctors wouldn't tell my parents if I would live or not,,they didn't know. After awaking,,,I lay in the hospital in bed,,, one day I say a "vision" (for better words) up in the sky was this open doorway,,,,,BRIGHT,,SO BEAUTIFUL AND BRIGHT,,,,down lower,,,was another doorway open,,,cept this was of fire. I take it as God was sending me a signal to change the way I was living.

Once I dreamed I was in my coffin and everyone was there and they had a TV at the foot of the coffin and the news came on and said I had died and that brought me back and another time I got hit by a car doing 80 mph and it threw me couple hundred feet and my life not all but bits flashed before my eyes and I said bye every time I hit the ground in a new position and when I came to rest I said world but I wasn't dead just all broke up broke back hips elbows pelvis pelvic wrist and no more meat on the top of my feet.

Two times I've had stuff happen to me...pretty adventurous lol.

anyway, when I was 2, I did die, I drown at the beach, but the lifeguard saved me, I don't remember anything.

In third grade I fell out of a tree and was in a coma for a day, or knocked out or something...that's not really near death, but...

After that I've been pretty conservative on what I do...

YES, it was me. An @sshole hit me with an Iron skillet and killed me. Then the jerk gave me CPR and brought me back. As I was lying their dead I saw this guy sitting next to me and he looked familiar, but I couldn't place him. Then after I recovered my senses some days later, I realized that he was a guy I saw get killed in a car accident years earlier. What's really weird is that right after I saw him die I started hanging out at the bar at the intersection where he had died. I became an alcoholic. I barely drank before that compared to afterwards. The weird thing is I've always felt this presence around me since I witnessed his death. Now I know who it is!

I knew someone, but he wouldn't talk about it. Anyway, I haven't, but I would like to suggest a really good book. It's called "90 Minutes in Heaven" It was written by a Pastor named Don Piper. He actually died in a car accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and He was dead for 90 minutes. He tells of his experienc. It is AWESOME, and a MUST READ, for anyone searching for answers about what happens when we die. It's not a long book. You can read it in a day. Just BUY THE BOOK!!!!

Yeah I have I was playing with a bunch of people in the creek out back and one of the guys dunked my head underwater only he didn't realize that my head hit the rocks after 5 minutes of me not coming back up for air they pulled me up. 911 was called immediately and the guy who lived right by the creek preformed CPR on me I had no pulse or heartbeat for about a minute maybe a little over. I seen nothing except waking up and a bunch of people standing over me and crying.

Well, I almost drowned once. I was 8 and me and my friends were playing at the deep end of the pool. We were on a raft. Then the stupid lifeguard blew the whistle and told us to get out of the deep end of the pool. That startled me and my friends. They jumped and made the raft unstable . Then I fell off. She didn't notice I was drowning until 5 seconds after everyone started yelling.

Our family was going on vacation to canada and while we were in Minnisota, our Aunt hit a deer in a different car. THe van was totalled. there was a semi right beside them and on a construction road. Luckly they my cousin just put his seat belt on 5 sec before the accident and my aunt just started wearing hers a month ago. My aunt had bruised ribs from the airbag and my cousin knuckel bled and his nintindo ds broke right in half.
