No, she well may have had an infection, though. I think Jaime is talking about how some full term pups are 'born' alive, that is, they pass through the birth canal alive, but get fluids in their lungs and basically suffocate- can esp. happen with breech pups. Your dog squeezing in a tight space did not cause the still births- one month is not nearly a complete pregnancy for a dog. She may have brucellosis, a doggie STD that can cause still born/aborted litters. You should have your female tested and insist any future studs she uses are tested as well.

You'd need a Vet to examine her to get a credible answer as to why she did not get even near full term. If she was only one month pregnant when the puppies came out, there are several things that could have caused it. Did you put any topical flea preventions like Frontline or Advantix on her? Or any toxic flea treatments? Did she eat anything that made her sick? Ask your Vet about the bed. It could be she got stressed trying to nest and prepare for birth in an area too cramped if there was no suitable place introduced to her where she would feel secure and it would feel den like to her, such as a large closet, in a back area with bedding for her, or some other more easily accessible and private area.
Sorry for your losses and I hope the Vet can help you figure it out!

No that wouldn't have caused her to deliver so early.Adog carries for 63 months so the ppups were premature and no chance they would survive that early into pregnancy.
At 4 weeks is usually when the vet can finally take xrays and sometimes that early the pups still wouldn't show up on teh xray.
You may want to consider having her checked by the vet to see if there is a health problem and ask if she should be bred if that's what you are considering or now owuld be a good time to have her fixed.
Sorry about your loss.

no, thats not why.
and just because they were born still didn't mean they were dead... just fyi. there born w/ fluid in there lungs sometimes, thats why there still. be sure to get it out in the upcoming litter... so it doesn't happen.

Probably not. If it were too uncomfortable, she probably wouldn't have stayed down there.

I'm sorry for your loss.
