Do NOT count on making good money in Honolulu unless you have great connections...........the cost of living in Hawai'i is the highest in the country, visit first and find out a lot more before moving there.

Depends on the year. Most of the time, it's sunny with a comfortably warm temperature and cool-warm winds. It's pretty humid compared to many places. It rains often, and although uncommon, thunderstorms do happen. So do earthquakes (one happened a while ago, leading to a whole day w/o electricity). I haven't heard of a big tornado, but there are some very occasional twisters that last for a minute or so in some parts. Everytime that an earthquake happens in a place within, like, a 100,000 mile radius, a tsunami warning is up, haha. But there hasn't been a huge one in many years. Another common thing is a flood. Some can really mess up your house. And one more thing to remember- things are expensive in Hawaii. Housing is pretty expensive, and right now, gas is higher than the mainland prices.
Good luck!

Weather is pretty much the same all year round, about 85. More rain in December and more humid. Humidity is generally not a problem as there is always a light wind. We are never unconfortable because of that. This is a real paradise should we consider the weather.

It's pretty warm here year round. The temp ranges from low 50's - upper 90's but usually sticks somewhere in the mid 80's.
Humidity is usually around 80%.
If you're looking to make money here though......you're moving to the wrong place. You'll make money here BUT you'll spend all your money living here (since the cost of living is often more than you make). Hawaii is definately a two-income state unless you're a doctor or lawyer.
Good luck!

I have gone four times in early May (lovely weather and tradewinds were awesome), once in early April (it was an usually humid time...even the people who live there said that it was highly unusual the weather as it was, usually very nice with the tradewinds.
Also, I was there last September for the floral parade. The weather was nice, maybe a couple days it was slightly humid, but not that bad!
As for bugs?????? Six times and not seen even one mosquitoe!! That is awesome! Seen maybe a couple bugs, but other than that....nothing!!
The weather stays usually in the mid-upper 80's. It does rain, but it does not last that long (not usually).
Sunshine usually abounds!! And when you feel those tradewinds....ohhhhhhhhh!! That is fantastic!!

High of 85 and low of 75 daily (degrees Fahrenheit) year round with humidity of around 60%. Trade winds keep it very pleasant. It rains slightly almost daily but not enough to ruin the day.

I visited Hawaii 5 yrs ago, this time of year. I was a bit disappointed, expecting to see a strong Polynesian atmosphere. Instead it was a very Japanese atmosphere, beautiful - but I wanted to see Polynesian. This time of year was rather dry, very little rain - averaged 80 degrees during the day and a nice breeze. The water is clear, but somewhat devoid of life. Apparently tropical storms rip away natural coral reefs, giving small aquatic animals little protection from the larger ones. Not much for anyone who likes to snorkle.
It is also a very expensive place to live. As a side note, I did see the actor (Pat Morita) that plays Mr. Myagi (sp?) who was the karate master in Karate Kid LOL, He was drinking at the same bar I was.

It has it's wet seasons and dry seasons just like any other state, but with Hawaii the seasons are reversed since they are below the equator.
