It is illegal to sell and/or own ferrets in California. Here are some resources for more information....

Check to see if they're legal in Cali. (doubt it) Petco sells them here in RI. I think you could call them and find the nearest one. I'm pretty sure they're around out there. If you're south and AZ has them, the best place to cross over is at Blythe. Tell them you were just shopping in Wickenburg (AZ). That signals that you are a local resident and they'll wave you through. Might work at any border towns actually. Anyway, it always worked for me. Good luck.

I heard Ferrets are illegal here in California, if you do keep some secretly you'll have to go out of the state but keep it somewhere hidden because you'll get stopped by border control.

I'm sorry but it seem s it is illagal in CA to get a ferret. I am very sorry. I think it is just very dumb.

they are illeagal in california, i want them too, but if it is found out that you have one, the government can take it and dispose of it as they with, not good. so please, save a ferret and just wait and see if they become leagal
