I'm down with that, I object to paying taxes to provide translators for them and teaching their children in Spanish and printing gov. documents in 20 different languages. If you insist on remaining ignorant that's your business. And also I should not have to provide you with welfare if you cant support yourself.

I agree that the need should be the driving factor. Immigrants should learn the language to be able to communicate. On the other hand you can't reasonably expect everyone that walks into your business to speak English. What about foreign tourists? Would you kick them out of your store? How do you tell the difference between an illegal/legal immigrant and a Mexican tourist?
People should stop complaining about having to do business in multiple languages. Other countries have no problem with it. The US is the only major country where the majority of the population isn't at least bilingual.

They come into your store - they are asking you where to find the freaking shoe isle, and you can't communicate with them. What the hell are you supposed to do? They don't have a translator with them! YOU have to look all over creation to find an employee or customer that speaks English and Spanish to ask them to translate. You are wasting your time and theirs. You can't ignore them - you're fired and your employers are losing business when the story hits the news and the employees are being called racist.
Next week, they come in again asking where to find the notebooks - even though they are illegals - they know somebody has to go out of their way to help them even though they live here and know most people speak English - they don't care! There is nothing you can do about it! They take advantage of us - illegally - and people willing or not are having to hand the country over on a silver platter due to political correctness and greedy businesses and politicians.

If I knew they were illegal aliens, I'd call the police and/or the Immigration Service. Hopefully, something is done because, if it isn't, I'm afraid vigilante justice will become the norm and that is definitly not a good thing. No need to communicate to them to do that.

It doesn't matter what language illegal aliens speak. They don't belong in the country they broke into, or are illegally residing in. It doesn't matter if they don't speak at all.
Nobody is trying to FORCE illegal aliens to learn any language. Citizens JUST WANT THEM GONE.
English (or any other language) is expected after immigrating legally to a country.

Geeze, you have posted numerous questions, all of which complain about the illegal alien criminals and how they shouldn't need to learn English. If we make them then we are like communist Russia. Get a life, dude.
Did you ever think about the fact that the non-English speaking kids are hurting our schools? What about the fact that American taxpayers have to pay for translators & extra costs for printing since things have to be in numerous languages.
Stop the "radical resentment" crap! You are being ridiculous!

I don't want to force anyone to speak English. But, if you are coming to live, legally, here, in the U.S., you will need to learn to speak our nations language.
It is simple, if you do not want to learn our language, go home! We are not trying to keep non-speakers out! We are trying to keep our nation united and to be united, we must understand one another!

Illegal immigrants can leave....as for legal immigrants, I should hope they learn English because it's part of the citizenship test.
