My little chihuhua mix named Stewart is about 5 1/2 months old, he hasnt lost all of his teeth yet, but I was wondering how long do u think he is going 2 live? We have only had him for 7 or 8 weeks.

Chis live 15+ years. The mixes would live a shorter life than most purebreds. Chihuahuas are the longest lived breed of dog.

I have a 10 year old chihuahua that is just as healthy today as she was when she was young. She can still run and jump like a puppy and the only indication of her real age that you can see, is the gray hair on her nose. I fully expect her to live to a ripe old age of at least 15.

if he is only 5 months old you could have up to 20 years as long as he is well taken care of and has all of his shots every year also don't forget to make sure his teeth are well taken care of as this will effect his over all health as he gets older my grandfather had a chihuahua mix that lived to be 25 years old he also had her spayed as a puppy so he didn't have to worry about her getting mammary cancer. this is unusual but small dogs live allot longer than large breed dogs.

THe average life span for a chihuahua is 5-8 years, as they are so small but what is the other breed? This may make him like longer. Also, it all depends on his health when he is older. No matter how long you have him, he will improve your life and you will improve his.

it depends on what its mixed with,the care the dog gets, have it neyutered now to help preventmany types of cancer.
so many things can determine how long a dog will live a chi can live to be 15 give or take a little

Do you know what he is mixed with? My mom had a chihuahua/rat terrier mix that lived for 17 years. Yes 17 years! No lie!

depends on how u treat him. If you feed him a healthy diet, also depends on what the chihuaha and what other dog . Chihuaha usually live to 10 years.

it honestly depends on how healthy the dogs are. do they get regular vet checks , are they utd on shots. things like that will help your pet live longer..... also a good dog food helps..... the more you properly care for a pet the better chances you have of having them around for a long time....

My supposedly (dopn't belive his papers.. looks nothing like a purebred) purebred Chihuahua is at 16 years and counting! *knock on wood*
