I'm a teachers and I have a co-worker, I'm not to friendly with her, but I believe she dresses inproper for her job. Ex. She is at least 200 lbs and she wore white tights too small for her at least 2 sizes, with white panties( hanes!), with a red shirt that was too small for her. I could see even the kind of panties she had on. The pants were so tight that they were almost see thru and you could see every dipple and strech mark in her butt. Im not doing this to critize but I work in a Middle School setting were we have a hormones gone wild! Would you say something to her or to our supervisor, what would you do?? what should I do??

Let me add that we have avery strick dress code for students, they are not even allowed to wear tank tops, short skirts, or flip flops. I just think that if were a parent I wouldhate to have a parents/teacher meeting and see the kind of undies my child's students wears!

Sad isn't it that some people dress as if they do not own a full length mirror..or, just simply do not know how to dress.
Well, you are asking what I would personally do in this situation so here goes: If it's really that inappropriate I would approach my supervisor-But plan and think about what to say so as not to sound critical - is there a dress code? If so, I would check the employee manual first to be better informed. I want to come across as caring and concerned about the image the school is putting forth and the example being portrayed to these young and impressionable students (and their parents).
thumbs down? Obviously someone did not read my reply...perhaps a bad dresser...

Whooah....sexy! (just kidding)
I really don't think that it's your place to say anything at all to her. Regardless of how ridiculous she may look, she'll immediately assume that you're jealous. Nonetheless, it is a good idea to address the supervisor regarding this matter.
I agree with you wholeheartedly about K-12 female teachers dressing indecently. It sets a poor example and sends bad messages.
So, if I were you, I would go to the supervisor regarding this.
Good luck...Hawkeye!!

You say something to the supervisor because that just not right. You should have a dress code where teachers are dressed professionally anyway. If she is dressing like that, she must be having sex with one of the kids.

Gross. You can't be the only one to have noticed this. Talk to the principal about dress code? Maybe he/she could send out memo or something? I'm quite sure that no one would want to have that talk face-to-face. Good luck!

I would ask her if she likes for men, boys or just people to look at her, and think things of her that she does not perticipate in. But her dress sugguest that she does. That is a good way to get a one night stand, and surely you want more than that out of life.
That you care enough about her you would like to help her if you could.
Speek to her very discreetly, if she get angery you have done all you could have done.

You are a teacher??? No wonder our youth are so illiterate. Stop worrying about what others wear and focus on your teaching responsibility. Who was the dumb one that hired an illiterate (teacher) anyway???

#1. you TEACH at the middle school level and the above is the best you can do in regards to grammar and spelling? wow.
#2. if her supervisor feels it is a problem, her supervisor will likely take care of it. not your job. how will you feel when some busybody pokes their nose into your business and complains? (see #1 of my answer...)

Even though the way she dresses is undesirable to you just ignore it. I think the real problem is that you don't like fat people.
The word is strict...not strick.

Point, stare and laugh. Just kidding! If your supervisor isn't blind, she/he would have already noticed this. Best not to get involved. If she's cramming herself into her clothes, I wouldn't worry about her getting the youngins excited.

Bite your lip about your co-worker. You have much bigger issues with your grammar and spelling. I hope my kid is far from this school with the white tights and bad spelling!
