Where do you think you will go if you died tonight? Where would your mind, soul and spirit vanish to?

If I died tonight, the neurons in my brain would stop firing.
You see, all of our thoughts, moods, desires, and awareness are due to electrochemical signals running between brain cells or neurons.
So, when the neurons no longer fire, no signals are processed, my awareness, moods, and thoughts would cease. I would not know I was dead, nor would I know that I ever lived.
It takes TIME to think. If you can't think anymore, time stands still. So if I died tonight, time would come to a halt.....but only for me.
We know that in the past--say the year 1800, we did not exist. Can anyone remember before they were conceived? No! We didn't have a brain. We didn't know that we didn't exist, nor that we would be conceived and born into the world.
It's silly to be afraid of not existing, when we've all been ' there ' before!

you are working on a computer now. just open a word document and type something and do not save it. now shut down the computer and restart again, you will find nothing . another example the lamp light which filling every corner in your room, once you put lamp off the light is vanished where it goes ? they might tell you the light is not a material, I would say the the brain and the sight are not a material too and work on static electricity, so once the human dies the current will be off, do not wonder where this electricity comes from , we all know very well that the electricity is existed in this universe everywhere in the clouds in and among the planets and galaxies they are all rounding because of the magnatic field among them represented by +/- and produced by electricity. look at the dead body after one week and you can understand that all our life is only brain and eyes.

If I died tonight, I'm sure my wife would have my body carted out of the house and make arrangements for a funeral of some sort or other.

As for those other things, they wouldn't be anywhere.

If by "mind," you mean "consciousness and personality that holds who you are," I offer the following answer:
Mind is dependent on a working physical body. It's like asking where your blood pressure goes when you die; it didn't go anywhere, but, instead, it stopped existing when the necessary physical compenents were no longer working properly.

Soul and spirit? No such thing. There was never a reason to believe they existed, and I won't speculate about where such things would be anymore than I would speculate about why Sherlock Holmes lived on Baker Street.

My spirit would be at the Father's side in heaven. Waiting the Resurrection of my new body, raised imperishable and incorruptible.

I try to think about living, not dying. It's a far more productive way to spend your time.
