Rowling's made a habit of killing off increasingly important characters in each book, starting with Goblet of Fire. Other evidence suggests that at least one character is going to be sacrificed (or, more accurately, sacrifice him/herself) in the name of defeating Voldemort.

Who will do it? What's your logic? How would you end the series, if the ending you think Rowling chose isn't the one you'd pick?

Harry will live. She won't kill the hero. She's practical. I think she's an atheists. heros do more when they're alive.

I just hope it isn't one of the kids.. perhaps one of the more beloved instructors, or Hagrid.. but killing off hermione, ron or harry would disappoint so many of her child readers.
