I am pretty sure my dog has an ear infection now. Her ears smell and She shakes her head and she cys when we touch around there. What would the vet do to help her? Would there be ear drops or something? How much do you think it would cost. The fee to bring her in is 25$. Thanks for answering.

the cost dependson teh type of earinfection and what needs to be done.some can be treated with eardrops and other the dog needs the ears irrigated and then drops.
Either way please get you dog to the vets as soon as possilbe as you now know this is very painful and teh longer you wait the more it may cost.

This could be many things. She may have something as simple as water got into her ear and she has an ear infection and she just needs drops. It could be as serious as ear mites. These are pretty serious because they could make her head droop to one side. This will need either just drops or more, depending on how serious it is. Either way, take her to the vet. It shouldn't be anymore than like $100-$150.

As you can probably already tell, ear infections are very, very painful. Your dog needs to get to the vet first thing tomorrow - they can only be treated with the correct antibiotics.

this will not correct itself. the more she shakes her head the more little blood vessels break. soon her ear will balloon up full of blood & will require surgery.
she needs to go to the vet tomorrow am at the latest.

Happy jack makes a very good product for ear infections, its a liqued, and use it as directed. They also make powder for maintenence.
