Your kitties will be MUCH happier in their own home with a daily visit from a professional pet sitter; it'll be half the price of a kennel, too!
Go to petsit.com, which is the site for Pet Sitters International. They have a pet sitter location-finder by zip code.

I would think that would stress them out so much to leave them in a kennel but if you are going to be gone for a couple of months that might be the best idea. I was going to suggest you leave them at home and let someone feed them but if you are gone that long that may not be a good idea.

NO KENNEL!!!!! KENNEL BAD! Kennels keep doggies and kitties in teeny tiny cages for a week until their owners come back!!! Leave them at a nice pet hotel, preferably one that is combined with a vets so that if there are any mishaps your pets don't have to wait for the medical attention.

You'll want to tour the facilities and find one that is up to your standards. It's important to find one where they'll get lots of attention and have room to play. Generally I'd suggest finding a friend that can take them for the time that you're gone because not only will it be cheaper, but it'll be safer as they'll be less likely to catch any illnesses (in comparison to the ones that can be picked up in a kennel) and you'll know you can trust a friend.

Check with your vet and see if they also board animals. My vet does and one of the techs play with them during the day outside. The dogs think of it as "doggie camp".
P.S. Ask your vet if cats need to be vaccinated against anything before you leave. My dogs need bordella vaccinations to prevent "kennel cough" and that has to be done at least 2 weeks before.

just make sure they're up to date on their vaccinations and ask to see the area where they'll be kept, bring some toys of theirs to keep in the kennel with them and their food. I board mine at my vets office. good luck

i had three kittens also and when i went to hawai i but them in a kennel and i went for a week and when i came back they were dead so since your doing it for 2 months i suggest not to i think you should ask a person to come to your house and take care of them since kittens need to get milk and need attention.

My friend put hers into one and when she got it back it ran off and made it's home at one of the neighbours. Haven't you got any friends or family who could feed them for you instead? I have cat-sat for my friends as they didn't want to risk the same thing happening with theirs.
