Put corn starch, baking poweder or something like that on it. It will soon stop.

I think we have all done this at some point.

There's a product called "Stop Powder" that you can get at a local pet store. You just sprinkle it in the paw and it helps coagulate the blood so your dog stops bleeding. If they don't have exactly that, there are plenty of other similar products a clerk should be able to help you find.

Dog's nails are a pain to trim, aren't they? Good luck!

It's a common problem that all of us have. Corn starch should help reduce the bleeding in about 5 minutes.

Being a lover of all animals and especially dogs (I've had 2 in my 57 years) I feel the baking soda paste held in place by a bandage of some sort by yourself is best.

This is common for many first times with the nail cutting. Try to keep it clean, wash it out, make sure to tell your pet that he/she did nothing wrong.

It's not a huge problem. I'm sure it'll be fine

Good luck!

Wash the paw to stop an infection and wrap it to stop the bleeding. Comfort your pet so it won't think that it is in trouble.
