Why are poeple so quick to fall in love with eachother. Shouldn't their be a long period of "falling in-like". I have so many buddies that date a girl, they tell eachother they love one another (after just a few dates) and then BAM they break-up. Isn't better to take it slow. It should be a slow romance and sweet courting before the "I love you part", right? You can be very romantic and do romantic things with out rushing into the words I love you.
This is how it should go....
Meet that special person. Fall in-like. Date for a while (like a year or two). Sometime in that year or so of dating then the "I love you" part comes up. Do all kinds of romantic and sweet things for eachother. Spend as much time as possible just getting to know eachother and the families. Then if it is time and your both ready, get married and after a couple of years have kids.
Whats all the rushing around for??

I agree that is how it should be. I had a boyfriend once that told me he loved me, asked me to marry him and about 3 months later....decided he wanted to date someone else (we'd be dating for about 6 months and his new relationship lasted one month.)

Can you teach a class for young men & one for older men about what you just stated? Lots of older men now were never taught that and could use learning it and the young men need to be taught it now before they start making mistakes and not waiting for that special someone....Maybe write a book?

Because its better rushing around. If your a guy and try to take it slow you will get very little sex and have to spend a lot of money. But 'I love you' is said too much. And romance doesnt always work anymore. And maybe they break up because they feel as though their not right for each other and so they can quickly resume the search

B/c people think they need to be in love and they need that special person. Ya I know people like that...they started to say I love you after they were together for few days.....and they are only 15. Ya stupid I know...trust me I tell them all that time.

Lust isn't love.
commitment isn't thought out.
Both people should make SURE they want to have a serious relationship with each other.Living together isn't a serious relationship.Being married is a major commitment.
