Your credit report is based on your social security number so theres no way around that... Right now the most reliable source that I know of is from the FICO company themselves, the ones who developed the credit score system. If you sign up for the 30-day trial of credit tracker I think you get a free FICO score too with it. Check out the links below. the annual credit report site some of the people mentioned here does not give you a credit score, only your report, which is different.

I've done a lot of research on this.
1. Is there anyway to get my credit score without giving my credit card information?
No. You can provide your credit card information and PURCHASE your FICO credit score from annualcreditreport.com OR you can provide your credit card information at my company's website (http://www.cheapmiser.com/credit_cards3.html) and click on the flashing banners on the side. You'll get your score free, but you'd be enrolling in a trial program that you need to remember to cancel before being charged.
Is there anyway to get my credit score without giving my social security number?
No. You are the only person that should have that number, so this is something that is used to identify you and prove that you are who you say you are. What do you think would happen if anybody could type your name into a website and get your score just because they know your name?

Never, ever steal someone's social security number. That's a serious crime. It's identity theft. You could call the social security administration (it's in the phone book under the government listings) and ask how to get one. You should already have one. You just need a card. You can get an ID at the DMV. You'll need a birth certificate to get a social security card, and some identification, too. Ask your mom. She should be able to help.

Go to annualcreditreport.com . There's no charge, it gives you your full credit report, you don't have to give out your credit card info, but you do have to give them your social. There is the option to only use the last four of it though, so its a pretty safe site.

Do not give your personal information to anyone on the internet. Credit checks are not free when done by a bonafide company.

They need to know who you are and your social security number is the only number that identifies you personally. So they will need that number. Passport numbers and state drivers license numbers are not used in national databases like the ones for checking.credit

Ask your bank. Some banks (Bank of America) send out free annual credit reports. Otherwise the bank already has all your personnal information so you don't have to feel uncomfortable giving it out to someone else.

You can't get it without your SSN. Each credit rating company like TRW and Experion will give you one rating per year for free. They have to.
