Evil is the presence of a power in the universe in opposition to God. Sin is a personal attribute of ungodliness in the form of thought, word, and deed, derived from evil.

Evil comes from sin. God told us not to sin and from sin evil entered into the world (Genesis 3, where Adam and Eve eat the fruit). My understanding is that sin is like a door, once opened sin enters in. If you don't sin, then evil can't enter. Also see the story of Job for more information.

Sin is the act or acted result of an evil force.
Evil is the delusional state that causes all sin.
Illusions of grandeur cause evil.
Where do the illusions come from? Ignorance.
Ignorance?
It is an experiment to see the nature of god in bloom, maybe.

Evil is what a human regards as extremely morally wrong, whereas sin means disobeying the orders of a deity (and since no deities exist in reality, neither does sin).
NB Sin has nothing to do with morality, whereas evil has everything to do with morality.

First, describe what you mean when you say evil. Sin is a religious word invented to scare the weak minded.
