It's called hyperhidrosis, and it can be caused by a lot of things. There are a few treatments, but the easiest may be to go at the causes, if you know what they are. Some causes include hyperthyroidism, obesity, and menopause. Below are some sites that might help.

That is a nervous condition and most likely a genetic issue as well. On top of the fact its really HOT these days.

Best advice:
See a doctor. They have specialist in this field. There is a medicine and laser therapies if its that extreme.

It is good to sweat, honestly....yet its horrible when its at the wrong times.

Here are some home remedies. Cut all your body hair off, no underarm or others areas, that wicks the sweat away from your body onto your clothes.

Wear your hair away from your neck, a ponytail or updo. Do not wear a hat, it traps heat IN.

Wear loose clothes to allow air flow and only wear washable natural cottons or linens. Synthetic clothes make you sweat more. Jeans are cute, but hot. Keep your mid section cooler by wearing looser capri pants or shorts, even better a sun dress. Wear lighter colored clothes and Open toe or sandel shoes, that keeps the sweat down on the feet.

Soak your body in a espon salt and bakingsoda bath, to clean the pours and loofa or scrub a lot to keep the dead skin off, so the sweat is clean smelling.

Journal your food and drink intake, often an allergy or reaction will make you sweat. Keep a log of these.

Use a light lotion, or spritz spray and not heavy perfume, that can actually smell worse.

Do drink lots of water, I know- that means more sweat. That's okay, because it will be cleaner.

Don't smoke it comes out those same pours.

The condition is called hyperhidrosis. There are some conventional treatments, but they vary in effectiveness. Still, you should consult your doctor just to make sure there's no major underlying cause (e.g. hyperthyroidism, hypoglycemia, etc.). If no major cause is found, you should consult with a naturopathic physician for homeopathic remedies, which tend to work well for this problem. Good luck.

A friend of mine used to use baby powder for the body and I wear powdery makeup during the summer to stop the sweating. It works. You should give it a try.
