7 years ago I had a lumbar fusion, it fixed my back, but now I suffer just as much pain in my hip as I did my back

Yes. I have a good friend who had a cervical fusion several years ago, where they harvested bone from her hip. She still suffers from chronic pain, mostly in the hip where the bone was taken. She's now having complications from the cervical fusion. She's worse off now than before the surgery. I've had others tell me that they regret having a fusion done, due to the long term and chronic pain.
