well, your a girl, and too much working out could mean an irregular period. so i reccomend 4 days, but dont push your self too hard, and stay hydrated.

i would do a work out at the gym for 4 days.
if you think you can do more..then do it 5 days.
if you get tired during the 5 days, then limit yourself to 4 days.
Have yourself workout during those days for at least an HOUR (1 hour) if you are NOT in shape.
if you are already are then go for a little more.

for weight loss i suggest 4-6 days of cardio for 30-50min (preferably 45min) and 2-4 days of weight training
for just staying in shape 3-4 days are enough

I workout 4 times a week and do cardio 6-8 times. You need to do whatever suits your situation.... For workouts you benefit from resting the muscle group that you last attacked... I have a week between bicep workouts for example.
