Ask him that very question.I doubt he feels that way cuz guys never tell us what they really mean.
It was probably a poor attempt at joking.Let him know it wasn't funny...Start out with..."Hey What did you mean by that one night stand thing?"

First of all, I would asses the relationship and look at how my partner for one year has been treating me in the past. If there is a consistent pattern his his treating me with disrespect, I would write him a letter and in this letter I would include a comment that will tell him that the relationship is over because I don't want to be just a one night stand to anyone. Then I would make sure I end the letter...don't ever call or see me again...or I will get a restraining order on you.

Dump him. That's really an insult and if he said that about you in front of one of your friends, it shows absolutely no respect for you. He insulted you on so many levels that it's not funny. By one night stand, he suggested you were easy. By saying it went wrong was to call your relationship a mistake. To be brazen enough to say that to you makes him an AS*****!!!! You need to get away from him and find someone who is proud to be with you and would never think about saying something like that about you or anyone else. No one deserves that and he deserves to be very much alone...............

I don't think it's such a bad thing. It means he was planning on using you as a one night sand but it went wrong because he had to keep coming back. It's not exactly a compliment, but at least you know he cares about you now.

What a cruel thing to say. It might have been a viscious way to tell you he is not happy but it could also have been a very bad attempt a humour.
You'd better get to the bottom of it. Best way is to ask him what he meant.

Ok first of all, that was a cold thing for him to say and I think you need to tell him that to his face...no e-mail, no phone, no texting, face to face. Then turn around and don't look back....keep walking and even though it might hurt you for a bit, it will stop with time. You need to stop wasting time with this loser and spend time with someone who will respect you for the prize that you are! Good luck, girlfriend!

I would confront him and see what the hell is going on in his head. If he doesnt want to be with you and hasnt for a while then you need to not let him string you along any more. It will be better in the long run. You wont be sad

Ummm, sounds like he's done and ready to move on. And I wouldn't take it personally. It's just him. If you can learn from this, great. But don't continue to see this guy either. That would be a mistake, considering his feelings he just expressed.

First, I would take his picture off my 360 page!
I would kick him to the curb and move on to someone that is worth my time and love!

I'd cry! That's horrible. I definitely couldn't stay with someone after hearing something like that. That's just plain rude. If he really loved you, he would never even think anything like that.
