Well, this is what i would do: First and foremost, ur most likely not to get a bite on the first day, so experiment! use a lure about 10 cast in the same spot. If nothing, change lures. If u get a hit or the fish is playing with it, keep going and remember that lure. On the next day, use the lures that got hits. Cast about 6 times, if nothing, change to another lure that worked. If still nothing, change to a totally different lure or color. That's it. Just find out wat the fish want. Happy Fishing!

Live bait always works but if you want to fish like the pros (you can't use live bait). I would use Zoom Super Flukes in watermelon or junebug. Early in the morning and late in the day I would use a Pop-R or Bill Dance Popper, or buzzbaits in white or chartreuse. During the day, Junebug worms Texas rigged, lipless crankbaits like Bill Lewis' Rat-L-Trap in silver blue or black back, spinnerbaits in white. Good Luck.

This post from my eldest who works in a fishing tackle shop in England. I know little about fising except freshwater. (carp tench bream etc)
Hey mate dan here, why not try bright coloured lures such as grubs, jerk bait, poppers, rapalas. Dont know about the rigs as not sure about the speed and depth of the water over there. have added website below, if you are interested.

I would try some live bait and maybe some plastics (worms and lizards)
