Haha, thanks. I shouted this to my husband and he yelled "Thanks Kallan!"
He had a very nervous morning as he hoped his wife wouldn't go off in a car dealership :)

Why exclude anyone from your wish?? I say Happy Fathers Day to Fathers EVERYWHERE. And to Women who are raising their kids on their own and filling BOTH the role of Mother AND Father. You're DOING the job too, and YOU deserve the recognition tool. Happy Fathers day !!! *hugs* to you for stepping up to the plate.

I find it odd that people wish Happy Father's day to anyone other than their own father.
It's not like I go around wishing everyone Happy Birthday when it's Sally's birthday!

My husband's a Christian and Kallan, I actually think you'd like him. He looks like Danny DeVito and has Tim the Toolman Taylor's sense of humor, and he detests Christian hypocrites (he's a liberal Christian who won't be caught dead in a fundy church either). So, on behalf of my husband, thank you!

Thank you - I was extremely offended by that ignorant statement "find the Lord and be a proper example" as if they've cornered the market on being good parents. Guess he must not have noticed the high teen pregnancy and drug abuse rates in the bible belt among Christians....

I will forward this greeting to my father...thank you
and do not be offended from that guy who said greetings to the Christian fathers only... it is not because he feels he is better than others, but beacsue he just felt something wrong with his faith... I believe that the person who feels peace with his faith will never talk that way...
Peace!

I'm sorry that the Christian men you've encountered have made you feel that way about them. Try meeting Catholic men, they feel guilty for not being good enough.LOL!
