Should I try to gain weight?

If you are eating a healthy diet, and about 2,000 calories per day, you probably don't need to try to gain weight. You could add extra milk, a baked potato, a little more meat, etc. to your diet--but not a bunch of junk-food or fried foods. You are, at least, taking a daily multivitamin, I hope.

Um, actually. You are supposed to weigh 100 lbs. for the first 5 feet than 5 pounds for every inch after that. So your healthy weight is supposed to be 140. You need to gain about 35 pounds. But that doesn't mean go eat.Why not strength train. Get some definition in your muscles. Muscles weigh more than fat anyway.

You need to gain at least 10 pounds to have a healthy BMI. Gain some weight. Just get some slimfasts and drink them for an extra snack, that will help.
