I have just bought my first car and need to getr the old stereo out so i can put my new one in but i cant get it to shift please help!! thanks

If it was installed with a cage, the removal keys will work. slide them inbetween the radio and the cage on the sides and the radio will slide right out.
If it is iso mounted, you will have to remove the radio bezel or trim around the radio first to access the screws that hold the radio and mounting kit in.

It depends on the car. You're going to get answers telling you to use "removal keys", but they don't work in every vehicle. What's the year and model of the car?
