find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

He needs more food. This kind of dog requires more than what they tell u on the bag. u did not mention what kind of food u are feeding the pup. If it is one of those cheap grocery store dogfoods then u are feeding it nothing nutritional. It needs a high protein puppy chow with the main ingrediants are meat. Look on the label and see if the first ingrediants are meat or grains if it is grains it is not a good quality of dogfood. If it is science diet, iams, and i have read eukanuba. They are not good dog foods either. I have read innova is an excellant food and pro-plan, there are others. U are feeding what is going 2 be a big dog only 2.5 cups a day he definately not getting enough. My suggestion is feed 2.5 cups 3 times a day each feeding. I also suggest since it is a puppy get it wormed at ur vet if u haven't already.

I am not sure why anyone would want to be skinny. Healthy is what is in and what is sexy. So how do you feel? What are your goals... just a size of clothes or toned muscles? Be smart.. healthy diet, good exercise everyday and moderation. Never use diet pills... lots of water. Check out www.sparkpeople.com as they have an excellent site to track food and exercise based on your goals and it is free.

Start every day with a good breakfast (helps get your metabolism going for the day). Get some form of exercise for at least 10 minutes every day to start, then work your way up to more (that is what I need to work on). Drink lots of water (everytime you want a soda, have water instead). Avoid fatty, sugary foods. Think positive thoughts. Strive to be healthy, not skinny.

move your body more, find a sport.
Remember to always have fruit and veggies through out the day.
You should have more veggies than fruit, fruit should be consumed before 4:00 pm.
Make sure you snack on whole wheat breads for your usual sandwhich (if you like to have one for the afternoon).
Get more involved in tea with sandwhiches or light sugar biscuits (for the afternoon).
Substitute fizzy drinks with sparkling water, like grape flavour as her grape Fanta?
Nothing fried, not too many carbs (these should be consumed more for your breakfast).

One more thing, to help flush away your body toxins and to help her have a healthy diet, make sure she drinks 7 - 8 glasses of water through out the day!

check out sparkpeople dot com. Eat healthy - lots of veggies and fruits, lean meats and whole grains, lots of water and exercise will help you slim down in a HEALTHY way. Your body needs at least 1200 calories a day just to maintain itself - breathing, blinking, even if you did nothing but wake up and sit up in bed all day. (at least, an adult body anyway)
