We used to talk about asking Jesus to be the Lord of your life, but now lordship isn't understood like it used to be....Would you ask people if Jesus is the CEO of their life?

Apostle Jeff, that is so awesome....that's why the Assemblies of God didn't want to become a "denomination" but remain a Fellowship....but they eventually did so they could own property. (In the early 1900's you had to to own property.)

Stone...I love your answer that is so cool!

Amen Primo!

He is the CEO over my life and my Ministry. That is why I refused to Incorporate our Ministry, "The Body Of Christ Church." Most people do not realize that when they incorporate, they are making the State the Head of their Church. The State's very own words say that they breath life into the Church when they incorporate. Also when they become a 501c3 Ministry, they agree to obey the State. This doesn't sound too bad until you read what they have agreed to. I talked to a Lawyer about this and he told me that we did not have to incorporate and that a Church is more easily sued if they do. He also gave me tips on what we should do to become recognized by the State and Federal Governments as a Church without making them the Head.

I can officially declare that Jesus is the Head of our Ministry. He is my King and my Father. Everything that is mine, is His, and Everything that is His, is mine. I am joint heirs with Christ Jesus, my Lord.

Whichever term has the most glorified meaning is what I wish to refer Him as.Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade---kept in heaven for you.

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Good modern analogy JAN.

Do most Christians consult with GOD over the everyday events and needs of their life or do they run to HIM when all H is breaking loose ?

Is JESUS conveniently on the shelf if you need HIM or do you pray and read your Bible daily ?

Do people TRY to listen to THE STILL SMALL VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD THAT INDWELLS THEM or are they too busy watching junk on TV ?

Is GOD just something you do on Sunday and the rest of the week are you DOING YOUR OWN THING ?

Whether LORD OF YOUR LIFE or CEO >>> IS JESUS TRULY THE GOD OF YOUR VERY EXISTENCE ?

have a nice forever

JESUS IS GOD

In this day and age, that might be a better approach so people can understand. I like your wording on that, Jan.

I try my best to make Him not only CEO....but the CFO, the President, Vice President, Head Chairman....etc....

As long as I get to do the accounting.............yeah right...who am I kidding? I will always be accountable to Him

definite! i did no longer do something to alter myself. sooner or later i grew to become into shocked to stumble on that a number of my attitudes had replaced. i stumble on myself doing good, that i do no longer likely desire to do, yet someway i'm. from time to time i glance decrease back over my existence and discover, to my ask your self, that i'm in contrast to i used to be. i could forgotten that I even was once that way. i'm becoming, changing, and that i won't be in a position to even sense it. daily it quite is purely a touch greater, and then i'm surprised at how a methods i've got come, like a new child status against a growth chart on the wall.

you have to be care about ask Jesus to be the CEO of you life.
that means that you turn total control over to Him.
when jesus take total control of your life, if you do not listen to that small voice of the spirit, then He ruffles the nest until you do,
you have to put compete faith in him, no matter what happens.
you have to give up the luxury of worry, and trust that He knows what he is doing and will take care of you.
I did this and ended up living in the forest for 3 years amount the most God awful heathens you would ever want to meet.
it was the most wonderful experience in my life. and it gave me an extended family that I truly love.
and the blessings are still pouring in. one of those heathen just called.
I have learn to trust the Lord more than I thought possible.
and have no regrets.
yes i like having the Lord as CEO, (In complete control) of my life.

Jesus owns everything we own nothing we are only stewards everything belongs to God and if people had that attitude there would be a lot less debt and discontent. Both my spouse and I believe that Jesus in our CEO He owns a cattle on a thousand hills.

I don't think their is a title worthy enough for me to give to my dear Jesus. King, Lord, President, Best-Friend, none of it seems like enough. Even calling Him Love doesn't capture it. I can't put it words, and just look forward to serving Him till HE calls me home.

I think a CEO has control over you only at work and is not very hands on. As Lord we are servants directly accountable to the Lord of all. He is Lord and sovereign of us all.

In return He Saved my soul ,Healed my body, Cleans my mind, and Gave me a new heart.
